Psst! Wanna buy a Relic?

We’ve been so busy planning upcoming content that we haven’t had time to really sit down and record… But here’s a special mini episode we made because we absolutely had to tell you about an intriguing Australian RPG that is currently on Kickstarter.

We had the chance to have a chat with Steve Darlington (Steve Dee) from Tin Star Games, an industry design veteran and all round top bloke about his new Role Playing Games – Relics – A Game of Angels. If you like immersive worlds rich that are rich with lore, then this one is for you!
Back it here:

Episode 4 – Gateway to Glory

In this episode we discuss Gateway games and what we like to use to introduce people into games. We do a playthrough of The Stars Align as part of our recent review and we’ll be giving away our review copy to a lucky listener. We also chat with Tyler Johnson from Ice Breaker Games about his game Curious Humans and discuss Introversion and gamers.

Episode 3 – A lasting legacy.

In our first Podcast for 2019, we talk about about Legacy Games, what they are and why we love playing them and we delve into our groups love of Seafall by Plaid Hat Games.

We continue our interviews with Australian Tabletop Game Designers – this time speaking with Cayt and Marty Mirra of Mirrafire Games about their upcoming game “A Pack of Crooks” and we have our first giveaway!

You can win a copy of WINGSPAN – the first game designed by Elizabeth Hargrave and published by Stonemaier Games. Listen to the podcast to discover how!

Episode 2 – Deck The Halls!

Jarrod makes his way out of the stormy swamp that is Sydney and brings the humid, stormy weather with him straight to Hobart.  We finally get a chance to get Clank! out of the room of shame and then throw around some Dragonfire and talk a bit about our favourite Deck Building games.  Our PAXAUS interviews continue, this time talking to Matthew Radcliffe and Sean Fenemore of Savage Yeti Games about their new game “The Stars Align”.

Episode 1 – I was born a Ramblin’ Man

Welcome to our first Podcast where we introduce ourselves to you – our 3 listeners, we have a chat about some of the games that are hitting our table and we interview Jack Ford Morgan from Half-Monster Games and his game Terrible Candidates – which is a finalist in the Australian Games Awards – and some other games he has coming in the not too distant future.

You can listen to it here or download for later consumption. Also keep an eye out for us on your favourite podcast app.

ps. We know we need to do some work on the audio, thanks for listening

It’s (almost) alive!

So we’ve finished recording our first Podcast (huzzah!) and are in the process of editing it together, adding in an interview and deleting a bunch of stuff. We’re still playing with the Audio so please bear with us as we tweak a few things along the way.

Please note, we are not professional Podcasters (at the moment 🙂 )  by any means but we want to see where this takes us, as all of us here at Hit & Myths are stupidly passionate about games (or just stupid, you decide) and love the games we play and are super excited to share them with you.
